Transportation Needed: A car
How To Get There: As you enter Kihei, take Piilani Hwy. 31 till you get to
Wailea, go down the hill and turn right at the light. Turn
left at the Ulua & Mokapu Beach sign. Park in the lot. Walk
down to the Bathrooms and grassy area and take the path to
the left. To the right is Mokapu Beach.
When To Snorkel Or
Dive: Year round, but be aware of waves in
the summer. Also, all site are better in the morning before the
wind kicks up.
Where To Snorkel Or
Dive: Circle the rock outcropping that
divides Ulua and Mokapu Beaches
What You May Find: A moderate
amount of reef fish.
