This Site Offers: Snorkeling & Scuba Diving

Level Of Skill:  Beginner to intermediate divers and snorkelers

Depth Of Location:  15 to 30 feet along the wall to the north; 30 to 50 feet in the bay

Transportation Needed: A car with some ground clearance

How To Get There: Go south past the Maui Prince Resort 4 miles. You will see the la Perouse Memorial on the left, take the dirt road to the right.

When To Snorkel Or Dive: Year round, but be aware of waves in the summer. Also, all site are better in the morning before the wind kicks up.

Where To Snorkel Or Dive: To the right along the lava fingers or out in the middle of the bay.

What You May Find: Moderate amount of reef fish.

Site Hazards: Sea urchins as you enter water, and occasional high surf

Site Facilities: None

Notes Of Interest: As far as you can go unless you have a four wheel drive. Visibility usually better at Ahihi Bay.
