Transportation Needed: A car with good
clearance
How To Get There:
Coming from Wailuku, turn right on one of many
dirt roads at exactly the 16.33 mile mark. Head in a ways,
and go to the left. Park at the edge of the cliff. Walk
north on the path to the water. At the bottom, turn left and
wade across a small inlet to a lava rock ledge facing a lava
rock island.
When To Snorkel Or
Dive: Summer and Autumn. High surf in winter. Also, all site are better in the morning before the
wind kicks up.
Where To Snorkel Or
Dive: Straight out
What You May Find: A extremely large amount
of reef fish and a beautiful, colorful reef. One of the best
dives on the island.
Site Hazards: High surf in the
winter, tricky entry/exit, very tough walk down
Site Facilities: None
Notes Of Interest: Wear a wetsuit for
protection from rocks
