OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Kaupo is a little fishing town located on the rugged and
desolate coastline of South Maui. It is home to magnificent
canyons that drop to the sea. Just west of the town, on the
main highway, is the old Kaupo Store. This quaint little
store offers snacks and soft drinks and a unique collection
of antique cameras, clocks, calendars, and brick-a-brack.
Frequently, horses (the preferred local mode of
transportation) are hitched outside to the post. Visitors
are welcome to "sit a spell" on the wooden front porch.
