Information

Beginning at the Kahana Beach Resort and continuing past the Sands of Kahana, this stretch of beach offers plenty of space and the swimming here is very good. Kahana is a nice beach which is never very crowded.

Directions

Drive north of Lahaina Town on Honoapiilani Highway 30 past Kaanapali and Honokowai. Turn left at Mcdonald's, this is Hoohui road, and head west toward the ocean. Turn left on Lower Honoapiilani Highway and look for parking on the far side of the Kahana Beach Resort.

NOTE: While it is possible to surf, windsurf, kiteboard and bodysurf at ANY beach with wind or waves, my advice is based upon the beach being a RECOGNIZED or KNOWN beach for these activities.
