Information
Honokowai is a very long, white beach. It stretches the
entire length of Honokowai. There are many condominiums
lined up on this beach, so some portions can get crowded.
Otherwise, its a great beach.
Directions
Drive north of Lahaina Town on Honoapiilani Highway 30,
past Kaanapali you will come to a light, turn left onto
Lower Honoapiilani Hwy. For the next mile or so Honokowai
Beach will be on your left. Look for the beach access signs
or the beach itself.

Snorkeling: Yes
Scuba Diving: Yes
Surfing: Yes, some sections on a north swell
Windsurfing: Yes, some areas
Kiteboarding: Yes, some areas
Bodysurfing: Yes, some areas
Bathrooms: Yes, some areas
Picnic Benches: Yes, some areas
NOTE:
While it is possible
to surf, windsurf, kiteboard and bodysurf at
ANY beach with
wind or waves, my advice is based upon the beach being a
RECOGNIZED or
KNOWN beach for
these activities.
