Information
Wailea Beach is consistently voted one of the best beaches
on Maui. It is wide, long and stunning. The Grand Wailea and
Four Seasons resort front this beach. Which leads to the
only small problem, it can get crowded.
Directions
As you enter Kihei, take Piilani Hwy. 31 till you get to
Wailea, go down the hill and turn left at the light. Just
past the Grand Wailea and before the Four Seasons is a road
for the beach access. Just look for the sign.

Scuba Diving: Yes
Surfing: No
Windsurfing: No
Kiteboarding: No
Bodysurfing: Yes, Summer
Bathrooms: Yes
Picnic Benches: No, but a nice grassy area
NOTE:
While it is possible
to surf, windsurf, kiteboard and bodysurf at
ANY beach with
wind or waves, my advice is based upon the beach being a
RECOGNIZED or
KNOWN beach for
these activities.
