Information
Secret Makena Surf Beach is a very small but beautiful. For
some reason this beach can get quite crowded, so beware.
Directions
As you enter Kihei, take Piilani Hwy. 31 till you get to
Wailea, go down the hill and turn left at the light. Go
through Wailea to Makena. Just past the Makena Surf Condo
and before the nice homes, you will see the small beach
access parking lot.

Kiteboarding: No
Bodysurfing: Yes, Summer
Bathrooms: No
Picnic Benches: No
NOTE:
While it is possible
to surf, windsurf, kiteboard and bodysurf at
ANY beach with
wind or waves, my advice is based upon the beach being a
RECOGNIZED or
KNOWN beach for
these activities.
