Tavares is a little known beach that is frequented mostly by locals. It is a wide white sand beach that is not crowded.


Directions

Take Hana Hwy. 36 past Paia town and look for the house with the Blue Tiled roof on your left. Park in the dirt parking lot just before the house.

NOTE: While it is possible to surf, windsurf, kiteboard and bodysurf at ANY beach with wind or waves, my advice is based upon the beach being a RECOGNIZED or KNOWN beach for these activities.
