Extended Horizons is a
36' custom aluminum dive
boat, powered by twin
215 HP engines Crossing
to Lanai time in as
little as 30 minutes.
These new diesel engines
are being run on 100%
BIODIESEL made from
recycled cooking oil.
Almost smokeless and
fumeless. No diesel
fumes. Fast! Coast Guard
certified vessel rated
for 21 passengers.
However we carry only up
to 13 divers, Captain
and two guides. They
always dive in two small
groups, each separately
guided by our
professional naturalist
guides.
 Amenities:
Pressurized fresh water
system for rinsing off
yourself, cameras and
dive gear. Marine head,
canvas sun cover, dive
platform, and two side
dive doors, rear ladders
for ease of reentry into
the boat Plus plenty of
deck space for stowing
gear and gearing up.

Two tank trips first visit the
shipwreck Carthaginian off the
coast of Maui. This is a great
dive for certified divers who
are ready for something new and
different diving on Maui. Then
the second dive is generally
35'- 40' among the turtles on
the plentiful reefs offshore
Maui. This allows for all divers
to enjoy the maximum bottom time
underwater.

Night Dive |

You gotta see this to believe
it. More than half the critters
in the ocean off Maui are
nocturnal. The fish change color
and mostly are hiding, while the
invertebrates are prowling. You
see shells, lobsters, crabs,
octopus, nudibranchs, eels
hunting and if you are a
photographer, night time is when
you can get REALLY close to your
subject.
Once you try night diving you
may find day diving too tame!
Scared of the dark? Don't be,
with our great visibility you
can see each other even with the
light off. But of course they
dive with dive lights. By
yourself? No problem they will
accommodate as few as a single
diver up to five divers. They
can take you just about any
night from the shore, which is a
really nice way to go because
the shore dive groups are small.
All dives are guided.
Sites are Black Rock, Honolua,
Airport Beach, Kapalua Bay and
Canoe Beach. |

No Previous experience required
to dive Maui's Oceans. These are
dives that are geared for
someone with little or no
previous dive experience. The
beach is a great option because
these dives are often 1:1
classes. The lesson is then
followed by a dive with your
instructor.
