About Illusionist Jody
Baran Jody Baran began
working as a
professional magician at
age 15, performing
across the country at
school assemblies and
 amusement
parks. After 30 years of
entertaining on cruise
ships, Jody is
recognized as the Father
of Magic in that
industry. Among his
accolades are first
place awards presented
by the International
Brotherhood of Magic and
the Symposium of Magic.
Jody is a former "World
Champion of Magic" and
received the World Cup
of Magic in Tokyo, Japan
in 1986. Even more
amazing, the whole Baran
family performs in the
show: wife, Kathleen,
and their two daughters,
