Haleakala Sunrise Tour |

The
Sunrise Journey is their most
popular bicycle tour and has
very limited capacity due to new
park regulations. YOU MUST BOOK
YOUR TOUR IN ADVANCE. The tour
begins at the House of the Sun
Visitor Center where you enjoy
hot coffee, juice and pastries
and receive a comprehensive
safety briefing. their certified
tour guides provide you with a
history of Haleakala, its
geology and an explanation of
rare plants and animals only
found on Maui. You are then
escorted by your mountain guides
to the rim of the crater to view
sunrise at 10,000 feet.
Following Sunrise, you will be
expertly fitted to your bicycle
and begin your 38-mile bike ride
down the slopes of Haleakala -
the Worlds largest dormant
volcano. Along the way your tour
guides will stop for pictures
and point out scenic points of
interest. A NO-HOST Breakfast
will be provided in the historic
town of Makawao. The ride of a
lifetime continues down to the
Pacific Ocean ending at Paia Bay
Beach Park. They include round
trip transportation, continental
breakfast at the summit,
