OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The 3-Star
Aston
Maui Hill condominium resort was built on a
lushly landscaped slope overlooking the
Pacific Ocean and the islands of Lanai and Kaho'olawe in the Kihei area of Maui. The
suites are extremely large ranging from One
Bedroom/Two Bath to luxurious two-story
Three Bedroom/Three Bath "home away from
home". Beautifully maintained gardens and
grounds, along with the views make this a
popular choice for families, with many good
reviews and repeat guests. This is a
nonsmoking property. Like all the islands,
except Oahu, there is no public
transportation, so a car is a necessity for
any sightseeing.
At check-in, each family member ages 12
years and younger, receives a Aston
Kids Stay, Play & Eat Free ID card, lanyard
and flyer detailing participating
establishments and their offers for each
island. Guests will also receive a Two for
One free Luau certificate with the purchase
of one adult ticket, an Aloha Deals Booklet
with hundreds of dollars savings on dining,
shopping, entertainment and golf, one coupon
booklet per room and a complimentary welcome
amenity of bottled water upon arrival.
Property amenities include a weekly
complimentary Continental Breakfast and a
weekly Manager's evening Mai Tai party.
There are 14 outdoor barbeque grills, picnic
area, shuffleboard, swimming pool, sun deck
and jet spa, free hula and lei-making
lessons, free tennis and putting green, with
equipment, complimentary parking, high speed
internet kiosk in lobby (fee), 24 hour front
desk, complimentary newspaper in lobby,
business services, Concierge services,
year-round children's program (fee), sundry
store nearby and security.
While there are no restaurants on site,
there are many excellent dining spots in the
Kihei area featuring every ethnic cuisine
you can imagine. For those who want to take
advantage of the fully equipped kitchen,
there is a Costco near the airport and two
of Hawaii's main supermarkets, Safeway and
Foodland are in the Kihei area where you can
stock up on items for breakfast, lunch
and/or dinner. The money you save on just
breakfast alone would let you take an extra
excursion, or perhaps splurge for a very
special dinner at one of Maui's
award-winning restaurants.
This is a lovely property, set away from the
noise and traffic of the Kihei area, yet
close enough to the beaches and the quieter
resort area of Wailea. The accommodations
are spacious, the property is beautifully
maintained and you're in the perfect spot to
enjoy adventures such as sunrise at the top
of Haleakala, an unbelievable road trip to
Hana or explore what is known as upcountry
Maui with its farms and ranches and even do
some wine tasting at the Tedeschi Winery. |
