Located on the shores of
Kahului Bay in the center of Maui, the
2-star Maui Seaside Hotel is a
Polynesian-style low rise that features
spacious rooms with bright, tropical décor.
They offer a great deal for such reasonably
priced rooms.
Property amenities include a swimming pool
and sundeck, bar/cocktail lounge, a new
restaurant called Willy's Coconut Grill
serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, free
newspapers in the lobby and more. Ideally
situated for those who want to explore the
island of Maui, the Maui Seaside is only 10
minutes from historic Iao Valley where King
Kamehameha's warriors fought their final
battle to conquer the island. It's also near
the island's largest shopping center for
entertainment, dining, movies and more.
There is a championship golf course and
tennis courts within 10 minutes of the hotel
and only 45 minutes along a beautiful
coastline to Lahaina, former capital and
whaling center. Best of all, it is one of
the closest hotels for the not-to-be missed
experience of waking up in the middle of the
night to drive up to Haleakala, or "House of
the Sun", to watch the sun rise above the
crater's rim - it is simply awe inspiring.
Family owned and run, this is a clean, well
run property that offers a great deal for
the money, with a staff mostly of island
descent who share their warmth and aloha to
