One of the original
hotels built on beautiful Ka'anapali Beach
and completely renovated in 1996, almost all
of the 150 rooms and suites of the 4-Star
Sheraton Maui Resort face the ocean. Some
consider the hotel and its location one of
the most romantic spots in all the islands,
with its Hawaiian ambiance and casual
elegance. With 23 oceanfront acres, nestled
at Maui's historic Black Rock, staying at
the Sheraton Maui Resort is an unforgettable
experience.
The resort features a 142-yard freshwater
swimming lagoon with a children's pool,
whirlpool spa, new comfy poolside chaise
lounges, poolside Dive In Movie nights, star
gazing and new hammocks scattered throughout
the property. There are also free cultural
activities, golf so close you can walk to
it, year round children's programs, night
lit tennis courts, fresh flower lei upon
arrival, fitness center and an oceanfront
spa where you can indulge yourself, relax
and rejuvenate with an assortment of
massages and body treatments for both woman
and men.

Expected to open late in the summer of 2008
will be The Spa at Black Rock, a new
luxurious resort-style spa with 10 treatment
rooms. Other property amenities include,
nightly Hawaiian entertainment, business
center, in-room dining, hospitality room for
early arrivals and late departures, beach
activities desk, Doctor's on Call, gift
shops, dry cleaning, laundry facilities.
The resort has two excellent restaurants
including Keka'a Terrace with its sweeping
views of the coast and island-influenced
cuisine for breakfast and lunch and
Teppan-yaki Dan, where master chef's prepare
wonderful teppan dishes at your table. By
day it is Keka'a Terrace, but at night the
restaurant is transformed into the Black
Rock Steak & Seafood with a new menu and new
concept. Parents can take advantage of the
resort's Kids Eat Free program at Keka'a
Terrace for breakfast and lunch, where
children 12 and under eat free when
accompanied by a full paying adult.
The Sheraton Maui is also host to the only
oceanside luau on Ka'anapali Beach, the
Black Rock Sunset Luau held Mon. and Wed.
complete with dining under the stars, great
Polynesian review, including a Fire dancer.
Two outside bars offer cool tropical drinks,
slack key guitar and light snacks, while the
Reef's Edge Lounge is the perfect spot to
end your evening. At sunset every evening
you can relax and enjoy Hawaiian and
contemporary entertainment and watch an
ancient tradition of the Torch Lighting and
Cliff Diving ceremony.
