OVERVIEW |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The 4.5-Star Hyatt
Regency Maui Resort & Spa is simply a
wonderful luxury resort located on 40 acres
of beach front property on one of Maui's
premier beaches, Ka'anapali. The property is
a wonderland of meandering paths,
waterfalls, waterways, swans, lush tropical
greenery and possibly the best pool in the
entire islands. Then there is the artwork
scattered throughout the hotel and the
grounds, along with the tropical parrots who
greet you as you stroll through the
property.
Want to slide down a 150-foot lava-tube
water slide splashing into the hotels
two-acre pool? It's a fabulous ride and the
pool is unbelievable. Actually the pool is
more like a river that meanders in front of
the hotel, with caves, waterfalls, a rope
bridge, the water slide and even a rather
romantic bar in a grotto in the water that
you swim up to. There is also a new 3,000
sq. ft. Keiki (child) Lagoon, with a
children's 25 ft. slide, dancing waterfall
and sandy beach area.
If tennis is your game, there is a 6-court
Tennis Center and the Moana Athletic Club,
an oceanfront Fitness Center with
state-of-the-art equipment with fitness
classes offered daily. There are wildlife,
art and garden tours, hula lessons, lei
making, jogging trails, bike trails, two
championship golf courses nearby and aqua
aerobics along with water basketball, pool
tables, game room and ping pong. Spa Moana
is an ocean front full service spa with 11
treatment rooms, sauna and steam rooms and
even a spa suite for couples.
There are four restaurants, 6 lounges and
the Drums of the Pacific Luau, featuring one
of the very best Polynesian Reviews on the
island. Swan Court is the Hyatt Regency's
award-winning fine dining restaurant with a
romantic ambiance that is unforgettable.
Dine by candlelight on wonderful cuisine
surrounded by waterfalls and Oriental
Gardens - truly an experience to be
treasured. Spat's Trattoria features what is
often referred to as Maui's best Italian
cuisine with an intimate atmosphere.
Cascades Grille and Sushi Bar has great
oceanfront views and sushi, Weeping Banyan
café, is the place to go for some 100% Kona
coffee and ocean views and for casual
dining, check out the Pavilion with panini's,
salads and specials.
This is a terrific hotel for both families
and for couples. There are so many things to
do, see and enjoy on the property, you might
not want to leave it at all. And where else
can you have impeccable, yet warm caring
service, a bar you can swim up to and a
beach to stroll on - yes, its Paradise.
