OVERVIEW |
|

| |
The 3-star Castle
Kama'ole Sands Resort is one of the more
popular condominium resorts on Maui. The
resort is located in the Kihei area, near
the slopes of Mt. Haleakala and overlooking
Kama'ole Beach Park and features 15 acres of
lush gardens and tropical plantings with ten
4-story buildings.
Resort amenities include complimentary
parking, swimming pool and children's wading
pool, two jet spas, sun deck, 8 barbeque
grills with picnic areas, four complimentary
tennis courts, a Travel/Activity Desk, 24
hour Security, child care referrals,
complimentary coffee in the Lobby from 7 am
to 10 pm and a complimentary and very
popular weekly Mai Tai pool party every
Wednesday. There is a health club nearby as
well as several beautiful golf courses.
Take the opportunity to wander through the
resort's beautifully landscaped acres with
waterfalls, fountains and fish ponds on your
way to the white sand beach that the
property overlooks. Kama'ole Beach Park III,
is considered one of the very best swimming
beaches on all of Maui and it also has a
great children's play area and park and it
is just across the street.
While there is no restaurant on site, there
are several a short walk away. For an even
better variety, drive down the main street
of Kihei and you will find many restaurants
featuring a wide choice of ethnic foods.
But, then again, you will have a great
kitchen to cook in and it's a good way to
save money for some special occasion dinners
or activities while on Maui. There is a
Costco, Wal Mart and Safeway in Kahului,
where the airport is, making it convenient
to pick up some supplies for your stay.
Nothing wrong with having a cup of coffee on
your lanai and watching the sun rise, or
preparing a lunch to go when exploring parts
of the island and who would not want to
grill a steak and watch the sun set and see
the stars come out?
This is a lovely condominium, with a two-day
minimal rental, maintained beautifully,
offering exceptional value for what you
receive in return. When booking your
vacation, under Notes: request a renovated
unit, which guests are raving about. It is
not guaranteed, but well worth requesting. A
Resort Fee of $15, plus tax, is charged
directly to guests upon check in. This is a
one time charge per room and includes:
- Entry gate electronic card
- Pool gate codes
- Parking Permit
- Free morning newspaper - Maui News
- Free Maui magazine
- Free local calls
- Complimentary newspaper in lobby
- Complimentary "Cyber Cafe" access
card
- Complimentary Manager's Mai Tai
Party every Wednesday
