The Kahana area is a
relaxed beach front community between
Ka'anapali and Kapalua Resorts on the island
of Maui. The 3-star Outrigger Royal Kahana
is a deluxe beach front resort condo with
studios and one and two bedroom units that
reflect that relaxed attitude in a rather
luxurious way. With sweeping ocean views
with the islands of Molokai and Lanai on the
horizon it would be hard to find a more
wonderful place for a fantastic vacation.
And in the winter months, there is probably
no better place on the entire coast to see
whales breaching and spouting offshore
during their yearly migration to the
islands. A two night minimum stay is
required year round.
When checking in, guests receive a packet of
three postcards, one packet per room.
Postcards From Paradise will be mailed by
the Outrigger at no cost to anywhere in the
world. Additional postcards may be purchased
at the Reception Desk, which also will be
mailed at no cost. With a minimum three
night stay, children, 5 to 10 years of age
(2 maximum) are given a free Island Explorer
Kit at check-in. Each Island Explorer Kit
includes Friends of the Reef Adventure
Guide/Let's Explore Hawaii Guide, colorful
backpack, sunglasses, pen and binoculars.
The Royal Kahana is just steps to the shops
and restaurants at Kahana Gateway Shopping
Center and a short drive to Lahaina town,
once the capital of Hawaii and a former
whaling village. Then there is the Whaler's
Village in Ka'anapali and the championship
golf courses in Kapalua. And in between all
the activity is the peaceful, relaxing Royal
Kahana to come home to.
Property amenities include an Activities
Desk, barbeque and picnic areas, high speed
internet access in lobby (fee),
complimentary guest parking with covered
garage, complimentary coffee service in the
lobby, complimentary Mai Tai party every
Thursday, Fitness Center, laundry/dry
cleaning, luggage storage, 24 hour reception
desk, shuffleboard, ping pong, swimming pool
and sun deck with lounge chairs and two
tennis courts with complimentary equipment.
This is a lovely property with many
amenities and with your fully furnished
kitchen and a lovely patio or lanai to eat
meals al fresco, you have the opportunity to
cook some of your meals in your condo. There
is a Costco near the airport and two of
Hawaii's main supermarkets, Safeway and
Foodland are in the Lahaina area where you
can stock up on items for breakfast, lunch
or dinner.
